Gandhi 150th Birthday: Today is the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, that is, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who gave freedom to the country by following the principles of truth and non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi first emerged as the leader of apartheid in South Africa. Later led the freedom struggle of India in a non-violent manner. He adopted the method of Satyagraha and non-violence in India against the British rule. He performed Satyagraha against the British. Conducted non-cooperation and civil disobedience movement. On this strength, he gave India freedom from 200 years of slavery.
